Fried calamari is pretty tasty and you know if you find a restaurant or food spot that does them just perfectly, then you just found gold! You will be able to enjoy this crispy little treats just the way you like them and honestly, everything will be right in the world at that given time.

Sometimes you may have some leftover calamari in the fridge that needs reheating, but the question is, how do you do it? Well it’s a good thing that you ended up on this page. I will give you a quick overview that will highlight how to reheat fried calamari so that it is crispy and super delicious.

Use the Oven

If you are looking into reheating fried calamari, the oven is by far the best option that is available. It will take a couple of minutes, but when done in the oven, you should be able to “almost” get it back to the same state when you first had it.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Place the calamari on a baking sheet
  • Reheat for 10-15 minutes or until it is fully reheated
  • Check to make sure it is thoroughly heated to the level that you want
  • Take it out and enjoy

Do Not Use the Microwave

I know many of you would just go to the microwave as easiest reheating method, however if you have fried calamari, stay far away from the nuke. When it comes to fried foods, once you microwave them, they will not crispy and it will have the opposite effect. The fried food will actually end up soggy and disgusting. Now I am pretty sure you want to fully enjoy your calamari the way you had it originally. If that is the case, then throw it in the oven that is really the only way to do it.

  1. Wanted to reheat/recrisp my leftover calamari, so should have gone with the 375 oven for 7 min. or less, but instead opted for the “Sicilian” recipe for 350 degree oven and 15 min! They turned out like rubber bands! If a next time, I shall use the hot oven for 5 min.
