There is something about fried pickles that puts a smile on your face. For those of you who absolutely enjoy this tasty little food, you will understand where I am coming from. These pickles by themselves or with part of a meal are absolutely amazing and sometimes it is hard to just eat one serving. 🙂

If for whatever reason you have some pickles in the fridge or you just need to reheat them, below I will highlight some of the best options available to go about reheating fried pickles. This is a quick guide and you should be up and running, getting ready to warm up your meal in no time.

#1 Choice, The Oven!

If you want the best way to reheat fried pickles, then you definitely need to look at using the oven. While it may take a bit of time to get everything reheated, the food will still be able to maintain the fried crispiness when you are finished.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place fried pickles on a baking sheet.
  • Reheat pickles for about 10 to 15 minutes (depends on the type of oven that you use).
  • Once it has been fully reheated, you can take it out and enjoy.

You Could Always Re-Fry Them

While the oven is a good option, You could also take the pickles and re-fry them in a skillet. This is actually a quick process and you could be done in a couple of minutes, even though the I don’t think it is the healthiest option around.

Steps:

  • Heat a skillet on the stovetop.
  • Add in some oil and waited it is fully heated.
  • Throw in the pickles and keep stirring them around until they are fully heated.
  • Allow to cool off and enjoy.

Note: If you happen to have a deep fryer, you could always just heat up some oil in it and throw the pickles in there and allow them to be fried all over again. You could keep them in there for a couple of minutes, just so that they are heated up and ready to go. This would be much better than pan frying them, but how many people have deep fryers sitting around 🙂

Stay Away from Microwave

When it comes to reheating fried pickles, the microwave should not even be an option. The only time you should consider it, it’s if you want to heat them up really quickly and then finish them off in the oven. Other than that, Fried foods and the microwave do not mix at all. What will happen is that you will end up with soggy pickles as the microwave will make them extremely hot, but you will lose the crispy exterior that you so would enjoy. The only real option for reheating these treats are either with the oven or the skillet on the stovetop.
