The alarm clock goes off, you are still groggy, however the brain begins to spark and get into action, especially when it realizes that in a couple of minutes, you will be sipping on a nice tall glass of orange juice. If you are a big fan of O.J. then this definitive list is something you need to check out.

This list is really about taste, flavor and ultimately which one needs to be sitting in your refrigerator. I know when we go to the grocery store; we have a bunch of juice options all staring us in the face. Well hopefully, this list makes your choice easier, simply because it counts down and let it be known what are the best orange juices available.

#10 Odwalla Orange Juice

Odwalla Orange Juice

Odwalla OJ is not the “wow, this is some good orange juice” brand. It does taste like it is freshly squeezed, but there is just something slightly off putting about the taste. It still beats out other juices on the market, but because this is the best of the best, it will have to hold the #10 spot, simply because the ones further down on the list are so much better.

#9 Uncle Matt’s Organic Orange Juice

Uncle Matt’s Organic Orange Juice is some good quality juice. If you are looking to drink some OJ that has a nice taste to it and is very sweet and not bitterish, then you know you are going to have to give this one a try.

You can get different options such as pulp free, with the pulp and enhanced with Calcium & Vitamin D

#8 Organic Valley Orange Juice

Organic Valley Orange Juice

Oragnic Valley’s website states that “You can taste the tree-ripened sweetness in every glass.” I honestly cannot argue with that statement, because the juice is organic, it is sweet and it is pretty good. Good enough to hold down the #8 spot of this list. The wonderful thing is that it tastes like really good OJ. The bad is that there is a bit of tanginess with every sip. Some people will love this, while others may hate it. It really depends on what your taste buds like.

#7 Mintue Maid Pure Squeezed Orange Juice

Ahhhhhhh Minute Maid!! This was my go to brand as a youngster (when I didn’t know any better). This is by far one of the more popular orange juice brands around. There are many OJ options available from Minute Maid, but the one that we like would be the Pure Squeezed Juice. This is leagues above their Premium juice, which is made from concentrate.  The juice has a nice flavor and a great orangey taste, a surefire win if you ask me.

You can get the Minute Maid Pure Squeezed Juice with pulp, no pulp or no pulp with added Calcium & Vitamin D

Per serving: 110 calories, 22g sugar, 26g carbohydrate, 0g fat (0g saturated), 2g protein

#6 Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice

Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice

Yum, Yum, Yummy!!! This is some pretty tasty OJ! Tropicana is another household name brand when it comes to orange juice. The Pure Premium brand has a very smooth taste and a irresistible flavor. While it is still pretty good, there are others that are able to trump it. For what it is, it is perfect at #6. Even though it tastes good it gets its position for being not “ok” OJ and also not mind-blowing OJ.

You can get the Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice with no pulp, some pulp, lots of pulp, Calcium + Vitamin D and lots of pulp with Calcium + Vitamin D.

Per serving: 110 calories, 22g sugar, 26g carbohydrate, 0g fat (0g saturated), 2g protein

#5 Noble Organic Orange Juice

If you like sweet orange juice that has that fresh off the farm taste, then Noble Organic Orange Juice, is a good choice. It has a little kick to it, which will give your mouth fireworks, especially when you first take a sip of it. It definitely puts the fake “from concentrate” juices to shame and it is good choice to start the day off right.

#4 Florida’s Natural

Florida's Natural Orange Juice

If you are a big fan of that classic OJ taste, then Florida’s Natural is a good option to try. It is not overly sweet, nor overly bitter or tangy. It is just right and it is a juice that you will really enjoy the taste and it’s all round flavor.

#3 Simply Orange

Simply Orange Orange Juice

It was really hard to put Simply Orange juice at #3. I mean this juice is phenomenal and it tastes like the oranges were juiced right off the tree into the bottle, that morning. I have a bit of an affinity of Simply (Juices) and the job they have done with this OJ gets the universal symbol of perfection, 2 thumbs up. If you are looking for really good, I mean really good OJ, then it won’t hurt to have a bottle of Simply Orange on the table for breakfast.

#2 Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice – All Natural Freshly Squeezed

Natalie's Orchid Island Orange Juice

If you want store-bought OJ that is as close to the natural stuff as possible, then Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company’s Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice (such a long name) is by far the best option around.  This company does all the right things, to make almost perfect orange juice. It is freshly squeezed, no pasteurization, no flavorings, no nothing! The fruit is just picked from the tree, squeezed and bottled. You can taste this perfection in every sip. The taste of the juice is really …………well..I have no more words to describe it. Just know that it is really really good.

#1 Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice

Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice Surprised that store-bought orange juice is not number one on the list? Well even though there are countless options available, there is really nothing messing with freshly squeezed orange juice. It tastes absolutely amazing, it is healthier and it is just an all-around better juice. If you can, it would be a good idea to start drinking freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. It might be more trouble to make, but it is definitely worth it.
